Environment

ABC Commodities recognises its obligation to protect the natural environment in all areas where we explore.

Our exploration activities are designed to minimise surface disturbance, protect water quality, and preserve local biodiversity. We conduct pre-field environmental baseline assessments, comply with all conditions of our exploration licences under the NSW Mining Act 1992, and apply an “avoid, mitigate, rehabilitate” hierarchy in our operational planning.

Health & Safety

The health, safety, and wellbeing of our people, contractors, and the communities near our operations is a non-negotiable priority.

ABC Commodities maintains a zero-harm objective and ensures that all field activities are preceded by formal risk assessments and site-specific inductions. We require all personnel to hold current relevant certifications, comply with our safe work method statements, and report all incidents and near-misses. We continuously review our safety practices to identify and address emerging risks.

Community

We believe that exploration should create value for the communities in which we operate.

ABC Commodities engages proactively with local landholders, residents, and businesses through Community Engagement Plans developed for each project. We comply with the Section 140 Land Access framework under the NSW Mining Act 1992, and we communicate openly and honestly with community members about our exploration plans, timelines, and any potential impacts. Where feasible, we seek to support local employment and the procurement of local goods and services.

Operational Standards

ABC Commodities conducts all exploration activities in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including the NSW Mining Act 1992, the Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016, and the Aboriginal Heritage Act 1979. We hold current exploration licences in good standing and fulfil all minimum expenditure and reporting requirements under our licence conditions. All field contractors are required to comply with our operational standards as a condition of engagement.

Reclamation

We are committed to rehabilitating all disturbed ground at the conclusion of exploration activities.

Drill sites, access tracks, and camp areas are restored to a condition consistent with the surrounding landscape. Topsoil is preserved and replaced, and revegetation is conducted using locally indigenous species wherever practicable. Rehabilitation is carried out progressively and in accordance with the requirements of our exploration licences and any associated work programme approvals.

Reporting

As an ASX-listed entity, ABC Commodities fulfils its continuous disclosure obligations under ASX Listing Rules and the Corporations Act 2001.

Exploration results are reported in accordance with the JORC Code (2012 Edition) and ASX Listing Rule 5.7. All technical information is reviewed and signed off by a Competent Person as defined under the JORC Code. Annual and half-year reports provide shareholders with a transparent account of exploration progress, expenditure, and the Company’s strategic direction.

Permitting

All exploration activities are conducted under valid exploration licences granted by the NSW Department of Planning and Environment under the Mining Act 1992.

Prior to any ground-disturbance activity, ABC Commodities obtains all required work programme approvals, notifies relevant landholders and regulators, and ensures that applicable environment protection and cultural heritage conditions are satisfied. The Company maintains a regulatory compliance register and assigns responsibility for permitting milestones to a nominated officer.

Corporate Governance

ABC Commodities is committed to the highest standards of corporate governance appropriate to a company of its size and stage of development.

The Board has adopted governance practices consistent with the ASX Corporate Governance Principles and Recommendations (4th Edition), including clear delegations of authority, an independent audit function, and a conflicts-of-interest management policy.
